The Ukrainian military stabilized the front line in the east, stopping Russian attempts to move further after the occupation of Avdiivka.
The Russian military intensified missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine, carrying out large-scale attacks on the morning of March 21, 22 and 24. The targets of the attacks were energy facilities, in particular the Dnipro Hydroelectric Power Plant, the damage to which can cause catastrophic consequences.
The Ukrainian military continues to strike at the oil refining industry of the Russian Federation, as well as Russian military facilities on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea, including the base of Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol.
Ukraine received the first tranche of transitional financing amounting to 4.5 billion euros under the European Union's Ukraine Facility financial instrument.
The Council of EU agreed on a €5 billion Ukraine Assistance Fund under the European Peace Facility to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
According to the UN Human Rights Office report, based on over 2,300 interviews, Russia has created a climate of fear in occupied areas, suppressing Ukrainian culture and identity while imposing Russian language, citizenship, laws, and education.
President Zelenskyy accused Putin of falsely blaming Ukraine for the Moscow concert Crocus City Hall massacre, in which at least 137 people were killed. Putin claimed, without evidence, that the four arrested gunmen had collaborated with Ukraine and planned to flee there.
